Amity University Madhya Pradesh, Gwalior celebrated the 67th Republic Day of the country with great gaiety and fervor  on 26 January 2015.

Amity Family with the National Flag

 The programme commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Amity University madhya Pradesh, Lt Gen V K Sharma AVSM (Retd) to the tune of the National Anthem.

Speaking  on the occasion, Gen Sharma  said that each citizen of the country, be it a student, teacher, guard, or helper, can contribute to nation building by discharging his/her duties diligently and honestly.   Gen Sharma  also said that  the need of the hour was to feel collective responsibility towards national welfare and development and work earnestly towards it.

The Hon’ble Vice Chancellor’s address was followed by a rendition of patriotic songs by staff and students which aroused  patriotic fervor amongst  the students, staff, members of faculty, Heads of Schools and Departments present on the occasion. The programme culminated with the distribution of sweets to all present.
