Amity University Madhya Pradesh organizes
Guest Lecture on
"Value Based Technical Education and Research for Holistic Development of Society"
Dr. Ram Gopal, Former Director Defence Laboratory, DRDO Jodhpur delivered a lecture to the students of
Amity University Gwalior on “
Value Based Technical Education and Research for Holistic Development of Society” in the Seminar Hall on 24 September 2014 at 1415 hours.He stressed on the need to identify, develop and disseminate techniques by which engineering students and practicing engineers can be motivated to imbibe human values and appreciate their impact on technology development,professional ethics and human welfare. He focused on the creation of an awareness within the students of technical community that the technical skills and human values are essentially complementary.
The programme was attended by
Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Lt Gen V K Sharma, AVSM (Retd), Heads of Schools/Departments, faculty members, and students of
Amity University. A vote of thanks was proposed by the convener of the programme,
Prof (Dr.) Bikram K. Bahinipati, Dy. Director, Amity School of Engineering & Technology.
