Amity University Madhya Pradesh Organizes Melange 2014

Amity University Gwalior organized a party for the fresh students of 2014 ‘Melange 2014’ on 26 September 2014 from 5.30 PM onwards.Once the new students had been welcomed into the Auditorium with ‘Tilak’ and flowers, the programme for the evening began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. The first performance of the day was in the form of a fusion dance wherein the Indian classical dance form blended harmoniously with the trendy hip hop of today. This was followed by the first round of Ramp Walk, wherein the boys and girls of I year stepped onto the stage in glittering attires. Ami Band performed twice, first with junior and then with the senior students. A highlight of the evening was a skit, staged by the students of ASCO. The dance performances – both solo as well as group- were much appreciated by the audience. Adding charm to the evening were the solo renditions of songs by members of faculty Mr Mohan Kantharia and Mr Sandesh Mahajan. The II round of Ramp walk and the Question Answer Round set the stage on fire. Ms Charu Wadhwani of BBA and Mr Kshitiz of BJMC were respectively chosen Miss and Mr Fresher of Amity University Madhya Pradesh amidst much fanfare and gaiety. The programme came to an end with DJ and Dinner.

The evening was graced by the presence of Lt Gen VK Sharma, AVSM (Retd), Hon’ble VC Amity University Gwalior, Mrs Sharma, Registrar, Dr Anil Srivastava, Directors, Dy Directors, HOIs and members of faculty and staff.
