Amity University Madhya Pradesh organizes a farewell for passing out batch of Amity School of Communication with mixed emotions, nostalgia, and fervor put together,
Amity School of Communication, Amity University Madhya Pradesh bid adieu to Bachelors and Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication’s final semesters in its
farewell party, on 2nd April, 2015 at the ASCO Studio.

The passing out batch BJMC (VI Semester) and MJMC (IV Semester), were given a farewell party that began with a song dedicated to every senior to mark their entry. The event began with a welcome of all dignitaries and HOIs followed by an address by ASCO Deputy Director Dr. Sumit Narula. Dr. Narula brought out the memories with the outgoing batch and wished them all success for their future endeavours.
This was followed by solo song performances by juniors, after which Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Lt. Gen. VK Sharma AVSM (Retd.) addressed the seniors. Hon’ble VC began with the beginnings of ASCO, and stated that media and communication are such integral parts of the society, and its functioning never stops. He emphasised on keeping learning intact and the significance of keeping oneself updated in the present competitive world.
This was followed by an encouraging talk by Dean Academics Dr. RS Tomar, who emphasised on the significance of practical learning. The party had interesting games for all seniors, in contrast to their personalities, which added humour and light element to the nostalgia. All seniors spoke about their experiences at Amity University, and each one of them spoke about individual faculty members and the learning they have had from each.
Mr. Rutvik Aphale from BJMC (VI Semester) was given the title of Mr. ASCO and Ms. Paridhi Dwivedi from BJMC (VI Semester) of that of Ms. ASCO.
The event ended with concluding remarks by Dr. Sumit Narula, followed by dinner and a dance party.
