Annual Quiz 2015 held at Amity University Gwalior

Amity University Gwalior organized the Annual Quiz Competition 2015 in the auditorium, Block-B on March 30.

The quiz comprised three stages – two written rounds and the  final oral round. The initial written round was conducted by all the schools for their respective students. About 20 students qualified the initial written round, after which the  final written round was conducted. The final four teams comprising two students each were selected on the basis of their performance in the final written round.

The Oral quiz comprised  Eight rounds viz. Current Affairs, GK, Books and Authors, French, Picture, Video and Audio round. The quiz had a rapid fire round also which made it more exciting for the students and the audience both. At the end of every round there was an audience question which kept the interest alive among the audience.

The Oral quiz was lively with exuberant Quiz Masters Sudeep, Dewanshi, Samarth and Anvesha supported by video/audio/buzzer rounds with computerized marking system.

Nikhil Thakur – II Sem, ASAP and Anu Bhatnagar – II Sem, ALS emerged as winners.
All the participating teams were awarded prizes and certificate of appreciation.

This highly motivating quiz was graced by the presence of  Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Lt Gen V.K.Sharma AVSM (Retd.), Prof (Dr) R.S.Tomar, Dean Academics, The HoIs, HoDs, faculty members of all the schools and students of Amity University Gwalior.

The competition was conceptualized under the guidance of Dr. Iti Roychowdhury, Dy.Director-ASCENT. The quiz was designed and organized by Dr Vinod Bhatt and faculty of ASCENT and ASL.
